We have taken up the challenge of turning the supremely capable & comfortable Harley Touring range from dull & boring to full blown custom, without ruining the ride, comfort or touring abilities. Infact we have made them better.

In our opinion the 16" front end does no justice to the bike at all, so we decided to swap it for a 21" wheel with a 210 x 21 tyre. A Fat Daddy 50 spoke wheel with 2 spoked chrome discs to match. The wheels are available in all different colour combos and indeed other custom wheels are available too, but these Fat Daddies are superb value for money.

To add to the clean look we used the HD stock fender and de riveted it, removed the front and side trims, the rear chrome trim and extended the rear by 4" to keep it in stock length with the trim fitted.

If you require the fender to be extended it must also be painted. The bike runs less than an inch higher than the stock set up, but looks out of this world. A matching rear should be added if you're not using the stretched box.

To bring the bike back into preportion and to give extra fuel capacity for touring, we stretched the tank by 3" either side.It gives at least 70 -100 miles extra between fuel stops and looks amazing.

The bars can also be changed for beach or apes.


This stretched box kit is available in two ways. The primary kit comes with a lay over stretched fender and two stretched boxes. This kit is designed to take stock HD box lids and stock HD latch kit. The fender has a recess for your 7 x 4 number plate and cleans up the back end a treat. The boxes have a useable space in them and neatley shroud your exhaust system. As you can see in the pictures, we have used round box lids that are availableas an optional extra. We have also changed the latches, again an optional extra.

Lights need to be frenched into the fender and boxes as shown.There is a choice of how these lights can be run. We have used three diamond LEDs with all three lit as running lights. The centre one doubles as a brake light and the outer two as indicators.There are many different light and style combinations available, including the separate brake and indicatorset up shown on the glide.

One thing is for sure. This is one trick set up that will change the look of your bike beyond your wildest dreams.Notice on the glide that we have removed the top box for a clean look. This conversion can be used with a stock seat or a low profile one can be provided. Despite what they say, these box kits are not a DIY item & require extensive work to make them fit and line up correctly.

Anyone who tours will know the value of a screen, so imagine having a detachable batwing fairing that slots into your screen mounts and gives you a four speaker sound by way of an i pod compatiblle stereo. The whole unit can be disconnected by a three pin plug and lifted off in seconds.


A choice of screens, with choice of colour and height, comes with the purchaseof a fairing. Extras such as cigarette lighters can be added at the point of order.

To make ours a little different, we have hard wired and flush mounted a Garmin Sat Nav that powers with the ignition and turns off when the bike is switched off. We have done a speaker upgrade on ours, but the unit comes with an i pod control stereo and four marine speakers. The chrome grille and stereo trim set is extra, but worth every penny.

The fairings come in black gel coat ready for paint. This thing will fit with or without your running lights and once you have added one, you'll wonder how you ever lived without it!
